An essential part of the immersion experience is the homestay.
VIA is very lucky because we have excellent homes for our students. VIA homestay families work with us for many years so we know them very well and trust them to provide a warm and comfortable environment for our students. Students can enjoy a family atmosphere that includes three meals a day, a private bedroom with a desk and study area, a semi-private bathroom, internet (usually wireless), and close to public transportation. Most homes are 10 – 15 minutes to VIA by bus or bicycle. Most homestay families will spend weekends with their student and take them sightseeing and give them chances to participate in activities such as sailing, fishing, and skiing. Our student coordinators work closely with the students and families to ensure that the experience is positive for everyone.
Homestay Fees
